I grew up in Nepal and now live in the US, which means I spend a lot of time recreating the flavors of home in a kitchen that’s a long way from where I first learned them.

I’m not a professional chef, just someone who loves to cook. I learned the way a lot of us did, watching family in the kitchen and slowly figuring out what works.

There’s something about cooking that brings me real joy (washing up after, less so).

My recipes aren’t always traditional, but they’re inspired by the flavors I grew up with. You’ll find plenty rooted in Nepali cooking, alongside the global dishes I love making at home.
