Vegetables
- 2 tomatoes
- ⅓ cup chopped cilantro
- 1 garlic
- 3 green chili
Seasoning
- salt (as per taste)
- ½ tbsp lemon juice
Spices
- ¼ tsp sichuan pepper
- ½ tbsp sesame powder - Black/White
Boil two tomatoes in two cups of water on medium-high heat.

Bring it to a boil until the tomatoes are cooked. You can see the outer covering coming off when the tomato is cooked.
Remove the outer layer after cooking and transfer the boiled tomatoes to a blender.
Combine all spices, seasonings, green chili, garlic, and cilantro in a blender until you have a fine paste.
⅓ cup chopped cilantro, 1 garlic, 3 green chili, salt (as per taste), ½ tbsp lemon juice, ¼ tsp sichuan pepper, ½ tbsp sesame powder - Black/White
Pour the tomato sauce into a bowl. The dish is ready for serving and makes a great side dish when served with rice or roti.
# Depending on how spicy you prefer, you can lessen or increase the number of chilies.
# Sesame seeds should be toasted and finely ground. You can use white or black sesame seeds.
