Ingredients

Wai wai

  • 1 packet Wai Wai Noodles (Chicken or Vegetarian flavor)

Vegetables

  • ¼ cup chopped onion (finely chopped)
  • cup chopped tomato (finely chopped)
  • cup chopped cucumber
  • 2 green chili (finely chopped)
  • 2 tbsp chopped cilantro (finely chopped)
  • 2 tbsp black chickpeas (Chana)
  • 2 tbsp green peas (Matar)
  • ½ cup boiled potatoes - Optional

Seasoning

  • ½ tsp red chili powder
  • 2 tbsp lemon
  • salt as per taste
  • 1 tsp Chaat masala

Other

  • 2 cup puff rice
  • 6 tbsp spicy snacks (Bhujia/Dalmot) -Optional

Instructions

  • Add the chopped onion, tomato, green chili, cilantro, lemon juice, peas, chickpeas, potato, all seasoning and wai wai seasonings to a bowl. Mix everything well.
    ¼ cup chopped onion (finely chopped) , ⅓ cup chopped tomato (finely chopped), ⅓ cup chopped cucumber, 2 green chili (finely chopped), 2 tbsp chopped cilantro (finely chopped), 2 tbsp black chickpeas (Chana), 2 tbsp green peas (Matar), ½ cup boiled potatoes - Optional, ½ tsp red chili powder, 2 tbsp lemon , 1 tsp Chaat masala, salt as per taste
  • Crush the Wai Wai noodles into smaller pieces. Then add wai wai noodles, puff rice, dalmot, and oil to the bowl. Mix well until all the ingredients are combined.
    1 packet Wai Wai Noodles (Chicken or Vegetarian flavor), 1 tbsp mustard oil or any vegetable oil, 6 tbsp spicy snacks (Bhujia/Dalmot) -Optional, 2 cup puff rice
  • Enjoy the delicious Wai Wai Chatpate with your favorite cold or hot drink.

#. You can use either raw, soaked peas or boiled chickpeas. In this recipe, I use boiled chickpeas and green peas. You can also find fried chickpeas or green peas in the market if you prefer. The choice is completely up to your personal preferences.
#. Serve immediately to retain its crunchiness; otherwise, it will be soggy.
