Nepali Chatpate
Chapate is one of the most famous street foods in Nepal, alongside momo. It is still one of my favorite snacks from my childhood in Nepal.
It has a unique combination of flavors – crunchy, spicy, salty, and sour.
Now that I live abroad, making chatpate is one of my favorite ways to feel connected to home. Whenever I have friends over, it’s my go-to snack. It’s easy to make and tastes great.
Of course, there are many variations, but I prefer it with wai wai noodles. The combination is delicious.
