Pork Saute With Vegetable

Pork is fantastic when paired with leafy greens or green beans—one of my favorite combinations!

Whether I’m in my kitchen or dining at a Chinese restaurant, I often go for the pork sauté or stir-fry.

This Pork Sauté with Vegetables is super easy and delicious. Juicy pork and fresh veggies make it perfect for busy nights when you want a great meal without all the fuss.

Although I don’t eat pork very often, when I do, it’s usually for three dishes: pork curry, pork momo, or this tasty sautéed pork.

Pork saute with bell pepper

Here is an easy recipe to make sauteed pork recipe.

Ingredients

Pork: Opt for tender pork cuts, such as boneless pork loin, tenderloin, or sliced boneless pork chops cut into thin strips.

Soy Sauce: Choose dark soy sauce for its savory depth and umami goodness that elevates your pork sauté.

Garlic and Ginger: Thinly sliced garlic and minced ginger to add more flavor. Garlic and ginger powder can be used if fresh ingredients aren’t available.

Onion and Cilantro.

Bell Pepper: Sliced bell pepper, whether red, green, or a combination of both. It provides a juicy crunch and sweet flavor to the dish.

  • Next, Add soy sauce.
  • Mix all ingredients thoroughly in the pan to coat them evenly with sauce and spice flavorings.
  • Cook for 2-4 minutes on medium-high heat.
  • Once your pork sauté is cooked, add a pinch of salt and garnish with freshly chopped green onions or cilantro.

Note: Be sure not to go overboard with the salt; the soy sauce already adds a salty taste.

  • Transfer it to a serving dish and serve it with steamed rice.

Serving

Here are a few serving suggestions:

  • Pair with steamed white or brown rice for a complete meal or even fried rice.
  • Pair with a side of fresh salad greens drizzled with a tangy vinaigrette to add a refreshing contrast.
  • For a lighter option, serve the sauteed pork with quinoa or cauliflower rice.

Storage

  •  If there’s any pork saute left, it’s important to let it cool down before storing it in an airtight container in the fridge. This will help it stay fresh for 3-4 days.

  • To store pork saute longer, consider freezing it. Allow the pork to cool completely, and then place it in a freezer-safe container or resealable freezer bag. Properly frozen, sautéed pork can maintain quality for 2-3 months.
